Founding café consideration

Be part of the journey—because travelers asked for you.

We begin with public nominations, verify the recommendation and invite the strongest independent cafés to be considered for an intentional route. Payment never buys selection, ranking or editorial praise.

Founding café package

One original story, one permanent stamp, one reason to make the drive.

The founding package funds the real work required to introduce a café as a destination—not simply place its name on a list.

$1,000Founding-edition activation

$250 refundable consideration deposit. Credited toward the package if selected; returned if the café is not selected. The remaining $750 is due only after acceptance.

What activation includes

  • On-location travel and original photography
  • An editorial café profile and nearby-experience write-up
  • A custom, brand-aligned digital stamp that remains in the traveler's passport memory
  • Participant-app integration and intentional route placement
  • Approximately $300 pooled toward paid social and creator-led participant acquisition
  • Founding-edition recognition and aggregate performance reporting

The promotion loop

Your participation helps fund the audience—not just the listing.

01

Create

We travel, photograph and shape the café's story around the route.

02

Promote

A defined share funds targeted social and aligned creators to reach likely explorers.

03

Measure

Verified stamps and route activity create a clearer signal than impressions alone.

Future editions

Selection is earned again. The story stays alive.

If a café is reselected for the next annual Passport, the proposed renewal is $550. That supports continued promotion, refreshed route information, profile updates and new annual stamp creative. A previous place does not guarantee a future one.

How consideration works

Public signal first. Editorial decision second.

A nomination means people want the café considered. It is the start of diligence, not an invoice and not an acceptance.

01

Coffee quality

A cup good enough to justify the miles.

02

Sense of place

Atmosphere with personality, not a copy-and-paste café.

03

Local roots

Independent ownership and genuine community connection.

04

Route value

A story, town or nearby experience that makes the detour matter.

Other ways to travel together

Routes need places to stay, stories worth sharing and sponsors who add value.

Accommodation, tourism, outdoor, transportation and presenting-partner opportunities are structured separately from café selection.
